What Are The Causes And Medications For Red Patch On The Penis?
A week ago I discovered a red patch on the side of the glans of my penis, with a white centre...it has started to fade and get smaller and there is now a very small black spot in the centre of the white spot. It's not raised or itchy or warty, it doesn't resemble any syphilis symptoms that I have looked at, and I wonder what might have caused it. Any suggestions would be appreciated as I am very puzzled about this. I have regular sex with my wife, no other partners.

It may be due to either infection,trauma,allergy,any local reaction,bacterial, viral,fungal.etc, now the important part is to get it diagnosed that can be done by local examination and culture from the exudate of patch followed by treatment.
Now you have told that it is decreasing in size,healing with scab formation so need not to worry,keep noting that any swelling occurring in inguinal region(lymph node) if it occurs than you need to see a doctor, and medication.Besides checking your wife also if she feels any trouble in her vagina in the form of ulcer,swelling, discharge,etc.
