Omega 3 fatty acids help patients who have high triglycerides and LDL. It reduces both of these and increases the good cholesterol called HDL. It helps to prevent heart disease due to atherosclerosis and thus preventing chance of heart attacks and peripheral vascular disease. This can also be found it certain types of oily fish like Salmon. Eat plenty of fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables which also remove fats and cholesterol from the body and make arteries healthier. Do regular exercise by brisk walking everyday for 40 minutes.

omega 3 is a type of fatty acids.there r 3 type of fatty 3,omega 6 and omega our diet there must be a healthy ratio of all kind of fatty 1 part of omega 3 ,then 5-10 parts of omega 6,but now a days our diet lacking this healthy ratio and ratio of Indian diet is 1 part omega 3 and 30-50 parts of omega 6.lack of omega 3 leads to high cholesterol, skin problems, obesity, heart problems and many other fat metabolism related disorder.olive oil, canola seed oil and walnuts are vegetable source of omega 3 and salmon and other fishes are non veg. source.u may add these things to diet but avoid fish becos thy r poisoned by heavy metals.vegetables and fruits do not provide omega 3. and in India most of fruits and vegetables are poisoned by pesticides too.u can add omega 3 supplements like nutrilite or other trusted brand.supplements are used for preventive as well as treatment purpose
