Hi,

A number of benefits are claimed for evening primrose oil, which is a plant-based herbal product. These Include allergic skin conditions, and bone disease, gynecological problem and even more. However, little has been proved with scientific evidence.

You may use it if it's working for it. There are no major side effects to it. Do not use if you get allergic to it. For most people, it's quite safe if used for a year.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman, General & Family Physician
