What Are The After Effects Of Abortion?

i had an abortion on wed the 5th of oct, using cytotec 4 tabs vaginally 3 times at 6 hour intervals, yet untill now iv only had whitish red discharge. i did get the chills a fever for a night and cramps...but no bleeding. i was 4 weeks and 3 days preg according to an online calculater, thank you

Hello dear
Understand your concern.
Never use medical abortion without consulting the gynecologist as it causes excessive bleeding and incomplete abortion
First USG is needed to confirm the intrauterine pregnancy and know the gestational age of pregnancy.

Sometime if pregnancy is ectopic bleeding may be delayed
As you taken maximum dose wait for bleeding.
Generally will come with in 24 hours.
And minor bleeding may remain up to 4-5 days.
Crams and chills may be side effects of pills at it can cause uterine contractions.
If bleeding will not come consult the gynecologist and complete the abortion by surgical process like D & C after doing USG.
