What Are Sudden Dizziness, Vomiting And Profuse Sweating Suggestive Of?
I m a 66 yr old female in fairly good health. I feel better today but Fri morning I experienced severe dizziness as soon as I got out of bed. I could not stand up on my own. Then I started vomiting and did so for a couple of hours. I also sweated profusely. I got back to bed and finally went to sleep for 3 hrs. When I awoke, I was only slightly dizzy but still had nausea the rest of the day and all day Saturday and through to this morning. Better today but weak, so I m working on building my strength. It was a traumatic experience and I actually thought I might die.

It may be due to several causes.
For further assessment you may require complete hemogram, blood sugar levels after physician consultation.
Further treatment mainly depends upon the underlying condition.
For vomiting you can take tablet ondensetron.
Do regular blood pressure monitoring
