What Are Steps Taken While In Palliative Care?

can you help me? well my mother is in icu because everything has kind of shut down on her.... tomorrow morning she will be in palliative care. i just want to know what kind of help it doe, i know that it helps with pain. i would also like to know can/if it fails what will happen. please help me!

I really appreciate your concern for your mother, she is already in ICU so she would be taken great care there what ever possible that would be done by the medical team, you have not mentioned any thing in detail regarding her disease, else I would give my opinion, take care.
