Blood lipids have no correlation with heart disease. They can be a sign that something is happening but people with low levels have just as many heart attacks as those with high levels. As you get older, high levels are indicative to better health and long life.
There is a very good correlation between high calcium and heart attack. Does this mean you should lower your calcium? Of course not, any more than lowering your so called cholesterol will prevent a heart attack.

High cholesterol is not good for your health.it causes narrowing the blood vessels in your body and in some vital organs like heart,kidney,brain etc.you need to lower it.avoid high fat content foods,take regular meals,avoid smoking and take only moderate alcohol if you are talking,.regular exercise is must and continuously is also must.keep a watch on it,get checked periodically and live health life.

I am 28 years old with high cholesterol, I have been having several problems as well as several tests done. The lastest test was a cholesterol test which was high for my age. The symptoms i have been having is sever lower left abominal pain, swelling in my hands and feet, high cholesterol, high sodium, I was in a wheel chair for several years and was unable to get the proper exercise due to that, me and my family go for walks daily and try to exercise as much as we can, We have 3 little ones here at home so we are aways chasing them around. is there any insite you can give me as to what is going on with me.
I am in my 20 s, slightly underweight. I eat a balanced diet (high in fish and veggies, low in red meats), but have very high cholesterol. I don t know if there is history of heart disease in my family and have no way to find out. Anyone have experience with this or know what could cause this? Everything has checked out okay at the doc, except the high chol. count. I have always been on this same diet, only with even less meat when I was younger. (mother was vegetarian). I have a protruding upper abdomen which has been that way for awhile. I m finding it very difficult to do crunches and sit ups and if I even eat the smallest meal, I notice it sticks out even more as if I ve eaten a meal for two. It always hurt and never seems to go down even if I drink a magnesium citrate. My lower stomach will go down, but not upper. What could it be? I do suffer from iron deficient anemia, serious acid reflux and serious amounts of protein in my urine. Also diagnosed with high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
For the past 4 days, my blood pressure has been running anywhere from 130/95 to 120/102. My blood pressure is usually normal (typically 120/78 or so). I have high cholesterol and a family history of heart disease & am 51. What I don t understand is the numbers being close together. My last reading was 119/102.
It started with an odd itch on one side of my penis. Persisted for 2-3 days...itched only the odd time. I checked my penis,...where the itch was turned out to be reddish and seemed like I had a problem. This occurred in the beginning about 2 days after having sex. Doc said try it for 30 days and if not better go see him again. I asked the Doc how I would get whatever it was I had . He answered her . Today, I get a call from some gal at the clinic that told me I had Light A Penis Strep and that it should clear up in a couple days...it has been getting better. Redness has lessened, as well as swelling and itch. I asked what it was caused from...she said she didn t know. My question is this : How would I get Strep on my penis ?? Thank You , Norm.
Dear Sir, My husband had a boils and itching problem in under arms and chest. After consulting a doctor he took Momentasone+Fusidic acid combination cream along with Atarex and Amoclav tablets. After this course his boils are cured. In subsequent follow-up visit, doctor told us to use LS dew soap and dusting powder Absorbant and Fudic cream to cure rest of the boils remained. Now he is fine and does not have boils, However he has a itching problem on chest. May be due to sweating problem or what he cant even sleep at night due to it. also skin become dark and thick in that area. he took atarex but could not effective in itching at night again doctor has told to stop using that dusting powder and Fudic cream as skin becomes dry by using powder thick due constant itching on that and suggested HHzole cream and Nutex tablet. However, after taking its first dose, it does not have any effect on itching. Also we dont understand why doctor has given Nutex and HHzole cream though she said my husband does not have fungal infection. Kindly suggest for this itching problem
