What Are My Chances Of Pregnancy After Having BC Pill Next Day Morning?
I ve been on birth control for a year now. i was supposed to start my new pack on friday at 4pm but forgot, and also missed it saturday. Saturday night i had unprotected sex but he did not cum inside me. I was also at the tail end of my period. I am worried about precum though. I started my BC pack first thing sunday morning and took my second one monday morning. what are my chances of pregnancy and is there anything you would suggest I do? should i be worried?
No, worries. Its nice to know that you have started your regular BC pills. You should take 'Emergency Contraceptive Pills' within 72 hours of unprotected sex. Levonorgestrel is taken within 72 hours in two divided doses with 12 hours of difference between them. Do continue to take your regular BC pills.
If you take the medications in proper time, efficacy is 95% & you should not get pregnant. Efficacy gets reduced if not taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
