Hi my father is 78 years old he does not have diabetes or any other problem, other than high BP. For which he takes regular medication. Recently he had fever for few days and his hemoglobin came as8.2 He had abdominal pain as well and dr told hi. For songraphy. Report came as enlarged liver- hepatomegaly with raised live echotexture

Here acute hepatitis is most possible cause...
Following work up needed. ...
-SGPT
-SGOT
-Serum biliribin
-Viral marker for HAV, HBV, Anti HCV, HBE

For acute hepatitis take rest and avoid strenuous work..

Fruits more

Lemon juice, sugar cane juice useful..

Avoid excess fried food..

Udiliv tablet given.

Advise : Your physical examination strongly needed for seeing right hypochondrium tenderness and according to report further treatment
