What Are Heavy Bleeding And Cramps Post Sex Indicative Of?

So my girlfriend has had pregnancy symptoms since last week. We had sex on the 6th of this month which was the first day she ovulated and we also had sex the day before which was on the 7th. She is supposed to get her period around this week or so. And today around 12:45 she started bleeding heavily as well as cramping really bad. I was just wondering if she started her period or it's a sign of pregnancy?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
Heavy bleeding and cramps post sex should be indicative of her period only. They are not signs of pregnancy. In fact they means that she is definately not pregnant. Your girlfriend's periods are supposed to come around this week, therefore heavy bleeding must be her periods.
Sometimes a women can have heavy periods & cramping this is known as Dysmennorhea. It is a very common problem. she could take normal anti-inflammatory medicines like ibuprofen/acetaminophen for it.

Refer to a gynaecologist , if problem persists
Don't worry she would be fine
