What Are He Symptoms Of Shingles?

I found tonight two areas just below one of my breasts that are red itchy and pimple like, they are in a line, with each other, and it is also sore as well. I am only 38 years old and I know I am too young for it to be shingles but could I be wrong on this one? wondering what I should do? should I make an appointment with my doctor and have it looked at? or is there some kind of treatment I can do at home by myself? and what is the rash that looks like that

Hello,

As per your case history my advice is:

1. There are fluid filled lesions in shingles and they are extremely painful.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like Fusiderm cream twice daily.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetirizine for itching and NSAID like Ibuprofen for pain.
4. If problem persists then consult a dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshit Bhachech
