What Are Fluctuating BP, Lightheadedness And Fatigue Suggestive Of?

My husband has been on blood pressure medication for 1 month after being taken to the ER by ambulance for light headedness, nausea and weakness. Spent the night. Lots of tests. Not a stroke or heart. Blood pressure still fluxuating greatly. Right now it s 154/100. He is lightheaded and just feels crummy. Is this another trip to the ER?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

The blood pressure is not at an emergency level but if he is significantly dizzy and unwell , he should be assessed especially if there is any chest pain, shortness of breath or palpitations.

If his symptoms are mild, he can consider waiting to see his GP in the morning.

I hope this helps
