What Are Eyelid Cysts And How Is This Condition Treated ?

Painless bump on face .. never had this before. not a pimple. I ve had a bump under my skin for over a week now. Its placed by the left side of my right eye (not on or in my eye or where a sty would be). Its about the size of a penny and obviously round, very noticable.. it does not have a head on it & is not draining anything at all. Its PAINLESS. Kind of hard, but I can squish it in a little bit when I press on it. The skin has peeled off, re grows, then peeled again. Its not too red from the peeling.. I tied to puncture it with a needle, but it wouldn t work.. do any of you have any idea of what this could be??? Thank you very much for your time. I ve never had anything like this before & kind off freaking out. Eeek.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi!,
Welcome to HealthcareMagic forum,
Probably its a milia ,which is nothing but a collection of oil underneath .It can easily be removed, just see a dermatologist. It can also be a sebaceous cyst ,which comes with a small opening in center...so ,see a skin specialist who can diagnose it best.
take care,
Dr.chawda
