What Are Effects Of Having Glaucoma?

Hi Doctor, I am Anand jain,I have been suffering from Gloucoma disease since last 1 year..I have lost complete vision of my riage 62 years,from jabalpur madhya pradesh.ght eye.I went to AIIMS,Shankar netralaya chennai.But according to them it can not be recovered.I am taking medicine prescribed by the AIIMS doctors,But still my eye remains reddish..I am scared that my other eye should not get affected.please suggest....

you have consulted two best institute India. effect of glaucoma is mainly constricted field. slowly field is constricted to narrow pipe vision. optic cup deepening is to be assessed. what you have expressed is vision of one eye is there, continue to take medication as advised by aiimsdoctor. get it reviewed every 6month. try to save good eye.
