Hi, thank you for using health care magic.
I can understand your concern about pain at the same time i would like to congratulate you for stopping the habit of eating coal.
You fear something wrong with lungs. Eating coal could have done wrong with our digestive system. If coal dust is inhaled then it could also affect your lung.
So in my opinion if you have not inhaled coal than it is possible that hurting in lung/chest could have other causes.
Get chest/respiratory examination by doctor , Chest x-ray could also help to find out the cause.
Hope this will help you.
Regards.
