What Are Bright Green Stools And Increased Bowel Movements Indicative Of?

I have had increased bowel movements and the color is not the normal color but a bright green. I have a history of intestinal ulcers but never any green with them. And no blood now. I m getting worried since it has been going on so long. What other symptoms should I watch for?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of bright green stools and increased bowel movements. Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to many reasons, it seems to me that viral infection is the major cause for your condition along with poor and inadequate digestion of food. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult general practitioner for proper examination. Doctor will check vitals , take history and order blood test to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe antiviral like acyclovir along with anti pyretic and multivitamin supplement . Doctor may also refer you to gastroenterologist for proper examination and start treatment accordingly. Avoid intake of outside food and take light and non spicy food.
