Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...i m 16 years old. i got my period when i was 12, and i m still irregular. i m 4 feet 11 inches, and i ve never had a growth spurt, my doctor says my knees are pretty much done growing and i ll prolly never have a growth spurt. i weigh approximately 98 lbs and i ve been 98 lbs for a couple years. my boobs aren t getting any bigger and my face is hasn t really changed. the only thing that could possibly indicate that i m a sophomore in highschool is that i have a bit of acne (a pimple or two) and body hair (that i shave off). as far as the rest of the world can see, i have the body of a 12 year old. my point is... WHY AREN T I GROWING?

Hi - I have numerous non-specific symptoms: fatigue, digestive problems (early satiety, poor appetite, constipation, excessive wind, bloating etc.), chronic pain (not relieved by standard issue pain meds/cannot tolerate) head, neck, shoulders, mid and lower back and what feels like nerve pain in left thigh etc. Also mouth ulcers and some difficulties swallowing. Persistent pain ULQ and what feels like a bulge in intestine under left ribcage (I can pop this back in by putting pressure on it). I have life long incontinence issues and recurrent UTI s over last few years. I am 57 yrs old and highly motivated by my career - I have no undue social stressors. At this point, while my doctor is an OK practioner I do not feel heard and I do not have the energy to argue my case...I run the risk of being categorised as difficult/fussy/ageing/hypocondriac etc etc but I am exhausted at being dismissed and given the run around. I have positive ANA for several years. Comments or suggestions would be most welcome. Thanks...Karen

My 16 year old son has had a fatty-type cyst on his chest for 3-4 years. Our pediatrician told us not to worry about it because it was moveable. That doctor retired and we had a visit with a new doctor today. She measured the cyst (2.5 cmX2.5cm) and was concerned about the size. She referred us to a surgeon to have it removed. Is this a cause for concern or just a precaution?
