Weak, Black Stools, Weak Legs. Food Poisoning?

My husband seems to be fighting food poisoning. He has been very weak, running to the bathroom often and complains of weak legs. This occurred after eating salad & seafood at a restaurant on Sunday. He has been dealing with this for a few days now. On Wednesday 4/24, his stool was actually black and he is just washed out. Are these typical symptoms of food poisoning?

Thanks for using HCM
increased frequency of bowel movoments started after taking food outside. It could be a food poisoning. Ask him to take plenty of fluids, dehydration would have causing weakness, since he is having symptoms for 6 days, it shows GI infection, you can take antibiotic to control infection. avoid spicy food.
Have a good day
