Wavy Vision In Eye, No Headache Or Nausea. Eye Test Reports Negative. Is It Normal Or Should Go For Treatment?

Hi, I am a 41 yr old female, no known major illnesses, not on any medication. Today i had a period of 5min when my peripheral vision in lef eye became wavy, like looking through water. No headache, dizziness or nausea . BP ok. Eye test 1mo ago all negative. Should i seek immediate medical attention? Would they normally do MRI just formthis? Thanks

Ophthalmic migraine... i.e. a migraine without the headache. I would not be too concerned, but would pay attention to unusual caffeine intake dehydration or other migraine triggers -- chocolate, peanut butter, alcoholic beverages, etc. MRI would be indicated for persistant symptoms. Hope this helps.
