Watery Brownish Discharge. Between Periods. Disease?

Hi Doctor, I am 38 years of age, unmarried. Recently for last 2 months I am seeing scanty brownish discharge between my periods. For last 2 months, I am not seeing any whitish discharge. The discharge usually happens during bowel movements only and it is very little. It is not thick but watery. It is not there throughout the day. Please can you guide me. I am expecting something seriouly wrong.

OB & GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Watery brown discharge may be due to old blood or endometrial tissue, pelvic or vaginal infection, hormonal imbalance, stress factor, cervical polyp, over weight etc.

I suggest one pelvic examination and vaginal swab test to confirm the diagnosis. Kindly, consult with your gynecologist regarding this.

Till then, maintain genital hygiene properly.

Good luck.
