Want to go for a 30 day juice fast. Guidance for appropriate precautions?

I would like to go on a 30 day juice fast and would like to know how i can get a doctors perspective and knowledge on how to go about doing this safely. I have also enrolled in a 60 min kickboxing class 4 times a week. I am 5 2, filipino, 30 years of age, 185 lbs. my glucose is a bit high, i cant quite remember what it was but.. I have been juicing and adding that into my daily meals to get my body used to it. Please advise let me know what you can suggest. Thank you.

A juice diet can be a healthy alternative if it supplies all your daily requirements. This might be difficult if you are exercising according to a strenuous regime, to achieve a new level of fitness . Your body needs protein , fat and carbohydrates in a very specific ratio according to your energy requirements. Best you consult a dietician to calculate those requirements and help you to see that your juice diet for fils this.

30 days diet is not a good choice to lose weight and manage blood sugar levels. You should consume a balanced diet along with 40 minutes exercise everyday. Start taking high fiber and whole grains in your diet along with 2-3 servings of fruits everyday. Include lean meat and egg whites in your eating pattern. Avoid junk, frozen and processed food ietms as much as you can.

Instead of Fruit juices take fruits.
