Walking Painful After Stepping On Tiny Piece Of Glass. GP Can Help?

I stepped on a tiny piece of glass in my kitchen last night. I thought it was just a cut, but I think the piece may be stuck inside as walking is painful today (feels like I'm constantly stepping on something sharp in that place). Can my GP take care of this for me?

Dear Friend

Yes , a small glass piece might have been stuck inside. A careful examination will reveal if it is there and it can be removed. So , suppose you should go to a surgeon for this help.
He may also prescribe you NSAIDs which would help you with pain also with there anti inflammatory action.
If required an antibiotic and a tetanus shot would be given to you.
