Wakes Up Very Saturday With Headache, Nausea, Red Eye, Throws Up On Eating, Recovers Next Day. Cause?

My husband is 50. Every saturday he wakes with headache, nausea, red eyes, and cannot get out of bed. If he gets up and eats anything, he throws up. He needs to sleep all day, and sometimes he feels back to normal on Saturday late at night, or sometimes he recovers by Sunday morning. He is then usually well the rest of the week, able to go to work, get up at 6.30 am, etc. We think what happens is that he allows himself to relax on Sat, but the effect spirals out of control, so that it actually takes his body completely out of action. What do you think ? Is there help?

Hi there, thanks for asking. It could be a kind of compensation for the lack of sleep during the week days. Some people are in this was. You should ask him to see if he has enough sleep during the week. Best wishes.
