WBC In The Microscopic US Column. What Does It Mean By ?
In my urinalysis report I see a result of 10-12 for WBC in the Microscopic US column. It is marked with an X which apparently indicates abnormal. What does it mean?
presence of WBC in urine >5 any sex suggest that person is suffering from urinary tract infection.you should give urinary sample for culture and start antibiotic after consultation from urologist.some more test is required.you should drink plenty of water.
Thank you. I was diagnosed with non-specific colitis May 2010. I have MODERATE for result of Squamous cells and Ca. Oxalate result for Crystals but None for result for Bacteria. In the Lipid Profile I have results as: HDL 77, Tryglycerides 83, Cholesterol Ratio 3 /2, LDL is 155 and total cholesterol of 249. For Leukocte Esterase the result was SMALL. Everything else is normal.
Does the fact there is no bacteria rule out infection? Does the colitis cause any of these abnormal results?
