Vomiting Sensation, Frequent Burping, Prescribed Medication For Food Poisoning. Symptoms Continue, Stomach Unwell. Medication?

Hi Doctor...Had vomiting sensation and frequent burping last month, consulted a doctor and she prescribed medicines for food poisoning. Now its almost one month and the symptoms like vomiting sensation, frequent burping and going for motion are getting repeated from past week. i do not have stomach ache but a kind of uncomfortable feeling in my stomach. please help..

Hi thanks for your question.
The symptoms of vomitting,gastric discomfort and burping are usually due to acid peptic disease commonly called as APD.There are many causes of APD .Most common are spicy food,cigrette smoking,alcohol ,tension and infection of stomach by bacteria called as H PYLORI.Take some antacid and proton pump blocker like omeprazole.Consultation with a physicion who may be able to perform upper G I Endoscopy on you to establish cause of your symptoms is advisable.
