Vomiting, Diarrhea, Stomach Cramps. Reason?

My 10 year old daughter will wake in the middle of the night with extreme vomiting and explosive diarrhea. The vomit is yellow and sometimes foamy or slimy looking and stinks. Diarrhea is likewise smelly and nothing more than brown water. She will vomit between 20-30 times in a 6-8 hour period, with maybe 5-8 bouts of diarrhea, stomach cramps but no fever. After that she regains her appetite and feels fine. This is now happening about once every 30 days. What is going on?

Pediatrician 's  Response
greetings.

with he picture that you are describing it looks like as if some allergen is being responsible on those particular days.
i she allergic to anything.
then there are some malabsorbtion syndromes.but they have chronic history so most likely we an rule out.
it would be great if you can go and see the gastroenterologist as after detailed history and examination only can one come to tentative diagnosis.
