Vine Like Bruise On Lower Back With Numbness In Leg And Feet
I just noticed today that I have what appears to be a web/vine looking bruise on my lower back. No injury. My legs and feet have been going numb, I have no energy, and today my left hand has been going numb. I have also have had little to no appetite for a couple of weeks. On December 17th of 2013 I had a D and C done for a missed miscarriage and received the depo shot that same day. These symptoms started about 2 weeks ago so the D and C may not be relevant. I had to have shots for having O negative blood type. I have never before taken the depo shot and previously taken the pill as birth control. My knee hurt very bad last weekend don't know if that is relevant either. I am just very alarmed by this bruising on my back because it doesn't hurt. Should I go to the emergency room?
Bruise on back does not appear to be alarming as you are not feeling any pain with this. This may be due to any sprain or sleeping in wrong position , which you may not have noticed. Also if numbness is there, there is chances that you may be having low vitamin B-12 and calcium. My advice to you would be that you can get your level of calcium and vitamin B 12 analysed and than if they come low, you should start taking it.
