Very sleepy during daytime, on a proper nutritious diet

I am 42 years old. I feel very sleepy during daytime, specially between 10 AM - 12 PM. I try to stay awake and my eyes turn red during this time. I had vitamin B12 and Vitamin D deficiency. I am taking medications and it has stabilized in my recent blood & urine check. Two months ago I started Safi (Blood purifier). I sleep min 6-7 hours daily. My food intake is highly nutritious and I am on diet , does not eat after 6 PM. I also sleep very well and wake up energetic. Kindly suggest what should I do next.

Dear georgebiju, The daytime sleepiness which you have mentioned may be directly releated to the quality of nightime sleep that you are getting. Even if you sleep for 6-7 hours but if it is fitful sleep due to sleep apnoea/snoring, repeated urination etc., you will be feeling tired and sleepy during daytime. Also certain medications are also known to cause daytime drowsiness. The cause of your eyes turning red are due to your resistance in falling asleep. Please get your blood pressure and blood glucose monitored and if necessary consult a General Physician.
