Vein On The Right Side Of Neck Pulsate Rapidly. What Could Cause This?

I m a 24 year old male and for about a week now I have a vein on the right side of my neck that starts to pulsate rapidly for sometimes 10-30 seconds. It does it from out of the blue. No warnings. I may be sitting,laying,or walking and ot does it and its very noticable and has me very worried. I place my hand on it and can feel the speed and then after just stops. Its becoming more frequent also

Your symptoms shows that you might be having problem in the blood vessel which supplies the blood to the brain that is in the carotid artery so consult vascular surgeon for further evaluations.
