Vaginal infection, weak hormones, irregular periods. Any precautions in doing intercourse?

Good morning doctor,

I got married in 2011, we did secure sex till 6 months but after that we planned for baby. In meantime my wife observed some problem in vaginal area she had infection on ovary and also had very weak harmons. She was under treatment from last 4 months and continues having medicine. She never gets her monthly periods on time sometimes not monthly My blood group is O+ and hers B+.

I want to know that does the way we do sex effects her body?

Is there any problem with our blood group?

Is there any kind of precautions we need to take while doing intercourse?

Pls reply ASAP. Thanks

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Your blood groups would no affect your sexual interaction, your wife's periods , vaginal infections or affect the ability to conceive a baby.

It is much more common for couples to have different blood groups than to have the same group.

The lack of a monthly period would affect your wife's ability to conceive.
Irregular period can have different causes such as: (1) high levels of a hormone called prolactin
(2) emotional or physical stress
(3)abnormal levels of thyroid hormone
(4)inadequate diet
(5)PCOS- this stands for polycystic ovarian syndrome

The doctor would likely do hormonal blood tests and ultrasound to determine if any of these is contributing to the irregular periods.

I hope this helps
