Hi
Thanks for your query
The treatment that you are taking for acne is adequate.
Supatret cream contains
tretinoin which is a very good topical agent both for acne as well as acne marks.
You can continue to use both
clindamycin and
benzoyl peroxide in the morning and evening as prescribed by your
dermatologist.
In addition, you can use tretinoin gel over both the active acne lesions as well as the
scars in the evening.
This therapy will help in reducing the acne lesions that you are having.
Other than this, try not to touch or squeeze the acne lesions as it tends to increase the chances of scarring.
Also some general precautions for acne patients :
1. Avoid using any oily creams or lotions over face as much as possible. you can however use oil free moisturisers
2. Wash your face frequently inorder to keep it dry
3. Drink plenty of water
4. Try to avoid eating dry fruits
5.Avoid touching or squeezing of pimples
6. Avoid Hair oil
7. Always use a sunscreen (SPF> 26) when going out in the sun
Hope it helps
