Using Addderall For A Long Time. Hearing Voices In Head. Side Effect?

Yes I believe my husband is suffering bad side effects from prolong use of aderall . He is hearing voices and believes people are following him. I don't know what to do . I have tried to show him the other articles. However he doesn't believe me he thinks I am lying. Please give me any advice you can and tell me if this is permenent.

I have gone through your available history.

Yes, with long trem use of adderal, it is possibld to develop auditory hallucinstion but he should also rule out primary psychosis or schizophrenia. For that, you need to take him tl psychiatrist for detailed evaluation and mansgement. Doctor may advise you to stop adderal and may give some anti psychotic drugs like risperidone.

Yes. It could be due to aderall.
But small doses seldom creates it.
Any way, from your description, it is not clear why your husband is taking it.

Is he suffering from Psychoses or depressive episodes?
Is he under psychiatric treatment?
Consult a psychiatrist for further advice.
Also make sure he consult a clinical psychologist.
Wish him speedy recovery.
