Used whitening cream to become fair. Any cream with permanent effects?

Hello doctor,

My skin is darker in color and hence used some whitening cream that temporarily made me look fair. I don't see any side effects, but as soon as I stopped using the cream, my skin came back to my normal color. Are there any good whitening creams that help me in the long run. Also, my hands are tanned, any creams that you would suggest for the tan removal from the hands? I am in US right now, so suggest me creams that are available in US.

Hi, there is no cream which make you permanently white. Remember, your skin color is due to genes and enviorment. The color increased due to tanning effect of sun can be reduced by mechanical and chemical protection. Mechanically you keep the area closed and chemically you apply sun screen cream or lotion.. Any good company. And wash the face and hands with kojic acid containing soap or face wash. Apply kojic acid and vitamin C containing cream daily at night. Take vitamin C, nicotinic acid and glutathion containing tablets.. Improve nutrition ... Good sleep and positive attitude will make difference. But, one should be happy with his mother color... Ok
