Hi and thanks for the query, the results are within normal limits. Presence of a small about of sugar within ketones is of little or significance. I might still however be interesting doing a fasting blood sugar to screen for diabetes. Results could still present negative as such even in the presence of a urinary tract infection. Slow growing bacteria could give apparently negative results as such. If you present with signs of urinary tract infection, it might be necessary for your doctor to prescribe a urine culture and sensitivity testing and a urine cytology to be very sure there is no hidden urine pathology.
