Hello,

First of all, ultrasound scan is quite normal with above features. In TVS scan, gestational sac is usually seen around 4-5 weeks, yolk sac around 5-6 weeks and fetal heart beat & pole around 6-7 weeks. So, you have to repeat the TVS scan after 2 weeks for more detailed picture of growing fetus.

Take folic acid and vitamin supplements and do periodic check up to your gynecologist. Take adequate bed rest and avoid heavy work. Good luck.

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

I congratulate you for being pregnant. Positive urine test with sac in uterus suggest you are pregnant. Trans vaginal sonography detects better than abdominal scan. So since 5 week get done pervaginal USG done. Transvaginal or abdominal ultrasound showing no fetal heartbeat will mean one of two things: either the pregnancy is too early for the heartbeat to be visible(

Wish you good health. Take care.

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

Need not have to worry.at 5th week of ammenorrhea usually sac will be detected by trans abdominal scan, to get fetal pole it takes 8 weeks of ammenorrhea. early detection is possible in trans vaginal scan.
raising blood HCG titers confirms diagnosis.
Consult your doctor for examination and management.
