Urine Flow

Hello Dr. My father is 56 years old, having problem of urine track. He had gone through two operations related to track, such that track is not clear and some portion had been grown so have to remove through bionacular surgery. Our Dr. said that urine sack s intensity becomes low so urine resides in sack and flow became much slow and thin. Please suggest your opinion on this, what to do? Is there any home remmedy to grow urine flow?

Hello.
Welcome to HealthcareMagic forum.
Due to the age and the surgery probably prostate removal makes the bladder musculature weak. This does not allow the bladder to evacuate completely whenever person passes urine.Home remedies are not available. Bladder exercises might help.

you have not mention about two surgical procedures, mostly your father might have prostate enlargement.due to two surgery, there may be stricture of urethra, resulting retention of urine or after passing urine, slight amount of urine remains in the bladder may cause urinary infection so discuss this problem with urologist and seek his advise

welcome to healthcare magic,

you father seems to have developed hypotonic bladder secondary to prolonged obstruction and difficult voiding. there are some medications that may be useful in some patients, try those in consultation with your urologist
