Unusually Tired, Neck Hurt, Light Headed, Chills With Fever. Took Ibuprofen. What Could It Be?

I woke up this morning feeling unusally tired and my neck hurt...stayed tired all day...my last hr of work I started feeling really bad....by the time I got home I was feeling very lightheaded, My body hurts all over, my neck hurts but im not sure if it has anything to do with the illness , n my ears started ringing outta nowhere n didnt last long..again not sure if its related....I checked my temp after I got chills n it was 102....its now risen to 103 within 20 mins....took ibuprofen hoping it relieves some of my symptoms...dr appt tomorrow....My questions are: What could this be? Never had these symptoms together.....and What should warrant an er visit? thank u

I went through your problem description. You are tired, you are having headache, nausea,dizziness, body pain, resonably high fever etc. From the look of it, it ought to be viral infectious disease. It is very difficult to diagnose without having pathological reports because, now a days we have lot of pathogenic activities and diseases.


You did a wise judgement to visit a physician. He will advice you accordingly. Meanwhile take rest, drink plenty of water and don't worry.
