Unprotected sex within weeks of surgical abortion. Need of taking postinor-2?
Whai had a surgical abortion two weeks ago and I had sex just this Friday but I didn t use a condom. My boyfriend pulled it out as I m withdrawal method and I didn t feel he pit anything me so I was asking if I could take postinor-2 help with this incase of trouble .So what should I do now.I need help???my email is YYYY@YYYY

Postinor-2 has to be taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex. Even if it is taken within 72 hours, the success rate for it to prevent pregnancy is around 85%. Since you had an abortion recently, the uterus would take a bit of time to get prepared itself for the next pregnancy. Hence there is only less chance for a pregnancy now. So, keep your calm and wait for your periods to come. Do pregnancy test, if it is missed. It is always better to practice safe sex.
