Unprotected Sex, Delayed Periods, Cramps. History Of Irregular Periods. When Will A Pregnancy Test Be Accurate?

I have very irregular periods, but they are typically do around the beginning of the month. I have been having slight cramping, much like I do before I start. However, I have not started yet. I had sex just over 2 weeks ago, with a condom. I took a home test 4 days ago and it was negative. How long should I wait before taking a second one?

Hi,
Thanks for consulting us.
I think you repeat the test after a gap of one week.
However, any time if the cramping is sever or you feel dizzy and weak you should report to a hospital as this can be a sign of an ectopic pregnancy.
Wish you good luck.
Take care.
