Hello! Back in Feb 2012 I was in a car accident witch ejected me frm my vehicle...which left me w 5 breaks in my back, broken pelvis,broken hip,broken ribs,and also had my spleen removed...also when I hit the pavement I hit so hard all the tissue I landed on died...my leg literally exploded when the nurses tried to change my sheets! Well I underwent 23 surgeries cutting out dead tissue, repairing hip and pelvis, had hardware put in, and also skin grafts to cover what was cut out. Well in July 2012 a wound opened up on my tailbone area..the wound is still there!! In March 2013 I had a MRI... Two weeks ago my dr tells me I have infection in the tailbone and the tissue around it is also infected and he has to go in and cut out the infected bone and tissue...I was in shock with all the news in a 10 min time frame.. So my question is what do I have to look forward too w this surgery and he long of recovery and hospitalization ? Also how serious is this? Thank you!!
