Undergone Semen Analysis. What Do The Results Suggest? Are They Normal?
Hello and welcome to HCM Your semen analysis report appears to me as: Volume: 3cc- Normal volume Reaction: Alkaline- Normal Liquefaction time: 30 min- Normal time Sperm count: 5 million/cc- Normal count Motility: 40% are actively motile- Normal motility is 50% sperms showing active motility Morphology: Not mentioned- Normally, 50 % sperms ahould have normal morphology Pus cells: 1-2/ HPF RBC: 0-1/HPF Pus cells and RBC values are within normal range Conclusion: The number of motile sperms are less in your semen. You have not mentioned about the morphology. You can face problems of infertility due to sub-normal motility of sperms. Thanks and take care Dr Shailja P Wahal
