Undergone Partial Hysterectomy, Have Ovaries. Hard Lump Below The Scar. Is This Scar Tissue?
I had an emergency hysterectomy a year ago this September. I had a partial hysterectomy, so I still have my ovaries. I have recently had some discomfort in my right side and discovered a hard lump under the just above the pelvic hair line and just below my scar on the right side. It seems to "move" back and forth when I pressure and rub on it. I can only feel it when I am standing, and it is sore to the touch when I push on it.i I never noticed this until this past weekend when I started rubbing the area because it felt sore. Can this be scar tissue? I also have had some pain in what feels like my pelvic bones. I like to think these two are not related but wonderling if they could be? Thanks in advance for any insight.
You need proper clinical examination and investigations. Ultrasound of abdomen should be done to find out the cause. CT Scan of abdomen can be done if needed. You should contact your surgeon as there may be many possibilities and it can be excluded only after palpation and USG. Get well soon.
