hi
first - wishing u a happy new year
and welcome to our site

read your query
that is a very significant question
and i appreciate your problem

i will try my best to answer your query

i dont think chemotherapy has anything to do with the rich and the poor
the chemotherapy medicines have a set schedule and have to be given accourdingly
a different molecule may have been used and that may have a different treatment schedule
i cannot comment on that since i dont have other clinical details from this query

as for metallic taste
in my patients i would have given the patient a trial of
tab pantoprazole 40 once a day
to maybe try and relieve him

i hope this helps you
best of luck

(please do understand that some problem remains as
online texting cuts down history and examination
thereby reducing the effect and efficiency)
I find this answer helpful
