Hello,
Normally levothyroxine is tolerated well and side effects generally occur because of therapeutic overdose and these side effects are of hyperthyroidism like insomnia, loss of weight, increased appetite, heat intolerance, menstrual irregularities etc.
Since half life of levothyroxine is very long, such side effects may not appear for many weeks after initiation of therapy.
Make sure you take the medicine regularly and get tested regularly.
Keep a regular date with your doctor.
Thanks
