Under Active Thyroid. Healthy Lifestyle. Nausea, Lower Back Ache, Foul Smelling Gas And Bloating. Reason?

Hi,

I am a 28 year old female. I have a slightly under active thyroid, other wise healthy. I don't smoke or drink. We live a very healthy active lifestyle. I have for the past week, felt nausea, lower back ache, foul smelling gas and bloating. I just had a period so assume I am not pregnant. What else could be causing these symptoms?

Hi, many thanks for the query!
Your symptoms suggest that you are having "Amoebiasis", for which you should take antibiotics, antispasmodics, pain killer, antacids as per your doctor's opinion.
Get an USG (Abdo-pelvis) done.
Consult your Physician with Thyroid profile (T3, T4, TSH) done for appropriate medicines to be started.
Wish you a good health. Take care.
