Unable to get all stools out. Using enema bag. Solution?

Unable to get ALL the stool out, stool is pasty and formed and there seems to be a 3 day process. Day 1 good, day 2 a little less, then day 3 small amount and feel like there is more there but can t get it out, so resort to 1 enema bag. Heard that magnesium malate strengthens the anal spincter muscle, so wondering what else I scould do and if that supplement might work. I took magnesium for a year or so and had loose stools , but think I did myself damage in the loss of nutrients and also then No more good clean-out!
