Ultrasound Shows Low Lying Posterior Placenta. Normal?

Hi ,yesterday i had my 18th week ultrasound and the report says my placenta is posterior low laying. As per the doctors report they mentioned that - Single live fetus with changing lie average GA-19 W . placental up to i os / low laying .what does it mean is it normal? i want to know that i can lie in supine position .this is my first baby.and also i want to know the chances for normal delivery in my case?

A low lying posterior placenta does not cause any problems unless the lower end of the placenta covers the internal os. There are chances of mild bleeding during the pregnancy.
