Ultrasound Done. Suggestions? Will I Be Able To Conceive?

Hello Doctor, I just had an ultra sound and these are some of the findings

*Cortex medula relations are conserved. There is no renal pathology visible.

* Endometrium measures 5.1 mm. a focal nebothian cyst is seen in the posterior lip of the cervix measuring 11.3 mm.

* Both ovaries are marginally bulky (right more than the left), nodular, echogenic and show marked stromal hypertrophy. Multiple tiny follicular cysts are seen in situ arranged in the periphery (ball of strings appearance). Average cyst size is 4mm to 7mm. Features are consistent with PCOD status.

Can you please explain this to me. AND WILL I BE ABLE TO HAVE CHILDREN. Thank you for your advise!

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

Yes, you can have children definitely.
Only thing is that you need treatment for poly cystic ovarian disease( PCOD).
PCOD occurs due to alteration in hormone level in females.
Treatment options are diet management, medical and rarely surgical.
Get well soon.

Take Care
