Ultra Sound Scan Shows Multiple Cyst For Both Kidneys. Will Laproscopy Remove The Big Cyst? Small Cyst To Grow Up
Hello Doctor ..I am Manjusha, Age:28 I just gone through full body check up.during the ultra sound scan they said that there are multiple cyst for both kidneys. left kidney 125 * 54mm right kidney 134 * 47 mm Can we cure this with medicine or need surgery. If we go with laproscopy to remove the big cyst, is there any chances for the small cyst to grow up. As I am planning for the second kid, can we wait for 2 yrs to remove the cyst. is cyst should be removed immediately ?I heard that it come as heredity. My grand mother had the dialysis problem. Please suggest me on how to proceed.

Your problem is related with a heredity disease that is called Polycystic Kidney Disease(PKD). Except the damage of kidney this heredity disease damage other organs too.
Before you plan for a kid you should be checked for
1. Aortic aneurysms.
2. Brain aneurysms.
3. Cysts in the liver, pancreas, and testes.
4. Diverticula of colon.
To diagnose those you should make the following tests:
1. Magnetic resonance imaging to check for brain aneurysms.
2. CT Scan to check for the rest.
The result will determine for kidney surgery and kid conception.
