UTI, Tilt In Pelvic Bone. Antibiotics Given. Suggestions?

I had a really bad uti a few weeks ago and felt a lot of pressure on my vaginal wall. I visited my doctor and they carried out a urine test to confirm the uti and was given anti biotics to treat it. However as I felt a lot of pressure also, I requested my marina coil to be checked. My doctor had trouble finding my cervix and said it was due to a tilt in my pelvic bone , but felt the strings of coil and said all was okay. My doctor offered to then send off a smear to make sure all was ok. I missed a call today to say my smear results were back and I had to pick up a prescription and they needed to talk to me. can't get through to my doctor all day since, what could this be??

Hello and welcome to HCM,
An infection of the urinary tract can be confirmed or ruled out be urine examination.
You have not mentioned the result of urine examination.
However, I assume that some infection was detected for which your doctor gave you antibiotics.
Since, the threads of the mirena coil were detected, it was in place.
IUCDs can be associated with infection.
A vaginal smear can be taken to confirm or rule out any infection of the genital tract.

The infection of urinary tract can spread to the urinary tract as both the tracts are placed close together.
Presence of infection of the genital tract can be treated by appropriate antibiotics.

Thanks and take care
